Our groups run Monday-Friday and Sundays. See the calendar page here for specific start times.  If you are new, then please check out our Join Us page and fill out the participant packet and accept the code of conduct.

Virtual Group Descriptions

Making Breaking Beautiful Art Group

Sundays 4:00-5:30 pm.

Kintsugi (金継ぎ, “golden joinery”), also known as kintsukuroi (金繕い, “golden repair”).  Making Breaking Beautiful is a time to take a look at  Arts and crafts activities that encourage artistic expression in a supportive and accepting atmosphere.

Book Groups

Brene Brown Book Group – Mondays 3-4pm – on vulnerability, shame, and authenticity will be discussed and explored. We are currently discussing Rising Strong.

The Body Keeps the Score Group – Wednesdays 11:30-12:30 pm. This is a group book study time for The Body Keeps the Score by Bessel VanDerKolk.

Music That Moves

Sundays from 2-3:30 pm.

Music has been recognized as a form of therapy that helps to reduce stress and bring about a mindful state of consciousness. Join us for a 10-week group session where the power of music will be explored and discussed week to week through listening and reflection.

Seeking Safety

Tuesdays from 6-8 pm.

Overwhelming feelings and emotional pain can be difficult to manage. Individuals may develop patterns in dealing with trauma that rely upon coping skills that are unsafe or have become problematic, keeping people stuck in patterns that no longer work for them and cause even more harm. Seeking safety is a treatment model that seeks to provide new and safe coping skills. This weekly, 2-hour discussion group encourages participants to increase their own repertoire of safe coping skills through group discussion and games using a Seeking Safety Card Deck.

Artist Way

Thursdays from 2:30-3:30 pm.

This is another book group, but it’s also a way of life. It opens a creative side of you that you may think didn’t exist. There’s no pressure in this group. Come follow along in this journey.

Understanding Diagnosis

Tuesdays from 4-5 pm.

Come be authentic about various mental health struggles and learn more about how it impacts us and ways we can live life successfully with it. Topics change from week to week. This comes from a more clinical background, but your presence and involvement change it all.

A Space to Grieve & Grow

A 5-week journaling group that repeats and feel free to jump in anytime.  The group focuses on individual grief, loss, healing, strengths, and resources using journaling & discussion.

Life Skills

Wednesday from 1:00-2:30 pm.

This is a time for people to set goals, learn, and build on a variety of different life skill topics. Topics will change from week to week

RISE! Resilience-Focused Support Group

Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm

Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 pm.

This group is for adults impacted by traumatic life events.  The group will focus on building resilience and moving from “surviving” difficult events to “thriving” in a fulfilling life.


Mondays from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.

This group explores boundaries, how to set them, how to enforce them, how to identify healthy ones.

Monthly Movie Night

Third Sundays – 6:30-8:30 pm

On the third Sunday of each month, we will be having a Zoom viewing of a movie followed by a short discussion reflecting on identified themes and insights. All movies are rated PG.

Peer Check-In Groups

Peer Check in Group Schedule:

Mondays – 1-2pm, Tuesdays – 1-2pm, Wednesdays 3:30-4:30pm, Thursdays – 1-2pm, and Fridays 2-4pm

The Check-In groups are designed to give everyone in the room an opportunity to check in for approximately 2-3 minutes at the beginning.  After everyone has a chance to do the brief check in, then the room opens up for further dialogue regarding check-ins or topics around the check-ins.

DBT Strategies & Skills

Thursdays 6-7:30pm

This is a peer run DBT skills group where people will work through the DBT Skills Workbook by Marsha Linehan.  You are welcome to purchase the book for yourself, sit and follow along, or join our private facebook group to follow along with tasks with pdf posted.

Each month we will spotlight a crafting project and make as many as we can. The items made during this time are sold in the community to help fund our program. You do not need any special talents for this group. Come on out. Many hands make light work. We will have guest speakers on topics of interest from participants one week out of every month during this time.

Walking Group

A time to stretch and move around or go for a walk around the neighborhood together.
