This month is Intimate Partner and Domestic Violence Awareness month. Robin's Hope will be holding a group on Domestic and Interpersonal violence in person in our upstairs group room every Monday October 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd at 2:15pmThe psycho-educational group will include information on healthy relationships, red flags/warning signs, power and control, post-separation abuse, spiritual abuse, effects of domestic violence on adults and children, safety planning, and available community resources for Virginia residents. You do not have to be a survivor of DV/IPV to attend the group, we will also be sharing information on how to support/validate friends and families of DV/IPV. The group goal will be to increase knowledge of interpersonal violence. Topics will be factual and presented through a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive lens.You can check out all in person or virtual groups on our calendar
Robin's Hope had our talent showcase and community dinner last night! Members shared poetry and ate tacos and it was a lovely time.
