Yoga Classes

Yoga has been discontinued for the summer.  Please check back in the fall!  Group classes are offered on Wednesdays from 10 to 11 and alternate Thursday evenings from 6-7pm.  This class is open to ages 13 and up.  This class is appropriate for any experience level and is trauma-sensitive.  Individual sessions may be scheduled by contacting Leah Lingus.  Yoga is a holistic way of life that integrates all elements of ancient knowledge to restore balance to the body, mind, and soul.  It is a comprehensive set of spiritual practices designed to enable us to realize the greater universe of consciousness that is our true nature.  The term Yoga means to unite, coordinate, harmonize, work, or transform.  It refers to the linking of all aspects of our being, from the physical body to our highest intelligence, with the true or universal Self that dwells within the heart.  This process occurs in different forms and stages relative to the condition of the individual and variations of time, place, and culture.

Rise!  Resilience Support Group

Offered on Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm, this group is for adults impacted by traumatic life events.  The group will focus on building resilience and moving from "surviving" difficult events to "thriving" in a fulfilling life.

Counseling, Training, and Workshops

Individual and family counseling are offered through Jennifer Kell, LCSW.  Trainings and workshops on issues related to trauma treatment can also be scheduled by contacting her.  Weekend intensive therapy workshops are being planned and will be held monthly.   Contact Jennifer for further information.

Additional Groups

Robin's Hope offers groups throughout the afternoon on Mondays and offers an education series once a month.

Lunch and Learn

This is a monthly lunch education series for professionals and community members.  See our event listing on the home page for this month's events.

Artistic Expressions

This group meets Monday 1-2:30pm.  Arts and crafts activities are offered as vehicles to express emotion.

Book Group

Mondays from 3-4 pm.  Brene Brown's books on vulnerability, shame, and authenticity will be discussed and explored.  We are currently discussing I Thought It Was  Just Me, But It  Isn't.

Walk in the neighborhood

A brief break from 4 to 4:30 allows participants to walk in the neighborhood around the office or simply socialize and get to know each other better.

Comfort and Compassion

Mondays from 4:30 to 5:30.  This group focuses on self-care and learning to be supportive and compassionate toward self.
